Below are some common questions often asked when my services are being considered

Q: What are your office hours?

A:  I offer appointments Monday through Thursday, 9 am - 6 pm. Early morning and late evening appointments may be offered on an as needed basis. 

Q: How do I schedule an appointment?

A: You may call or text me at 571-274-0914. I will respond to your inquiries within 48 business hours.

Q: Do you offer telehealth (video) sessions?

A: Yes, video or telephone sessions are an option.

Q: Do you take insurance?

A: No, I do not accept insurance or participate within insurance plans except Tricare Humana.

Q: What is the Daring Way™?

A: The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was developed to help men, women, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing a courage practice that transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings and is suitable for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders.

Q:  How long are sessions?

A: They are traditionally 50 minutes.

Q: What is your rate for self-paying clients?

A: The rate for self-paying clients is $150 for a 50 minute session. Couples and families are $180.00 per session.

Q: What occurs during a first-time session?

A: We will go over paperwork, policies, procedures, medical history and begin establishing a relationship. We will also determine what your therapeutic goals are, as well as a realistic timeline toward success. 

Q: What is the youngest age you will see?

A: I work with individuals age five and up.
